The product file contains such things as Weights, Pictures/Video, Cost/Price, Default Services, Problems, Routes and process information, Bill of Materials. Defining a product correctly is central to managing the advanced features such as Order Scheduling, Purchase Order Planning, Costing and Estimating, Metal Usage, etc
Items related to setting up a product such as process definition, metal definition, Engineering Methods will also be found in this section; not forgetting Tooling also known as Patterns where a comprehensive register is available.
This will also include provisions for Companies using Box and Frames in making the molds/moulds thus enabling the scheduler to identify potential bottlenecks quickly.
Finally this section also gathers a full Equipment register and preventative Maintenance log where you are able to plan and manage all your maintenance work but also control any quality equipment.
Preventative maintenance may be planned by both time and actual production.
