Smart Homes & Beyond ..

Anyone who knows me even slightly, knows I am at heart, a massive Gadget geek, and I have been since a small boy, the relentless march of technology has seen some wonderful advancements in areas that make our lives easier and I know that the Younger generation take these for granted..(My Neighbours daughter actually asked what a Camera was the other day…we had to explain that they are separate items, not just attached to Mobile phones & iPads.)

One area of gadgetry that we are embracing in the Mahon house, is the idea of the SMART home… in just a couple of short years, we have achieved what, as children, we only saw in Star Trek… being able to sort out my heating whilst still out picking children up from clubs, to asking Alexa to change lighting, brief me on daily news, help me learn languages, teach my children history show me who is at my door whilst I’m away and much much more…

Surely it can’t be much longer before the same Technology is making the working environment, a cleaner, greener place, and how long before we’re asking the same devices to take the Electric car to go and pick the children up from School, fire up the furnace, scan for materials, check composition…

Here at Synchro, we embrace Technology in the same way, finding how best we can provide a fantastic system, whilst making things simple to use, greener for the environment, and making the operators job, something to enjoy… Take our SF App as a good example… currently in its THIRD iteration since its inception, Synchro have ensured the programming behind it stays at the forefront of App design, and delivers a versatile system in your Shop Floor… if you haven’t seen it yet, why not ask the Team for a demonstration.

Technology… love it, or loath it, it can be a real boon to our daily lives… let’s just leave out Skynet shall we…
