Wishing You All the Best this time of Year! “Tis the Season”

The curtain is about to drop on the year 2016 as I type out the final blog entry for the year. It has been a fantastic year for the SYNCHRO ERP Global team as many new software features have been added to the software which include:

Ruby edition enhanced and streamlined menu, screen, and short cut access

Enhanced UID, serial number, traceability and features

Maintenance calendar for the equipment maintenance management module

Expansion of the APP for the tablet with many new features

Ability to quickly duplicate customer sales orders and purchase orders

Addition of lag day processing to scheduling

Shell tracking

The BRM and CRM, Business and Customer Relationship Management, software transitioned from ALPHA to BETA testing with customers.  The anticipated general release date is early 2017.

Many new “beyond top secret” projects are in the works for 2017, so I am prohibited under penalty of being drawn and quartered from revealing them.

What I am really looking forward to is the AFS Metalcasting Congress in April 2017 in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  All I can say about this is, thankfully it is NOT in February!

During 2016, the global team with augmented with the addition of Richard Nolan as the Global Office Manager based on the Isle of Man.

The implementation and training team of Simon Adlington, Daniel Alcântara, and Jean-Marie Darchicourt racked up an untold number of air miles getting many new customers ramped and keeping our ever expanding customer base fully trained.

The “Pros from Dover” in the social media arena, Vicky Mahon and Bianca Catherall, worked their magic.

I never heard of a bill never not being paid on time, nor a customer billing issue or payment going unresolved, and of course the all-important payroll was made with “money in the bank”!  Fabulous job Linda Beckett!

Way down in Brazil, Kevin Lenton expanded the presence of the software in South America.  Way to go Kevin!

Of course, I wouldn’t even be typing this without the owners of the company who keep us all employed, Chris and Barbara Nolan Collins, steering the ship.  Customers, sales leads, and of course your loyal team much appreciate everything you do.

As for I, Shane Allen, 2016 was a good year and with my co-pilot Jean-Marie Darchicourt, we really got proficient with the art of demonstrations and webinars.  A total of thirty-nine webinars to be exact!  CastExpo was my highlight of the year as I always enjoy “pressing the flesh” or shaking the hands of longtime friends and colleagues as well as meeting new metalcasters and opening up the world for software to them.  Demonstrations?  I can’t even begin to account for the number of hours I expended in 2016, but then again, demonstrations are my speciality!

Oh, did I forget some of the team members?  NEVER!  Really and truly and without a doubt the team is driven by the support team manager Lee Mahon and his trusty sidekick Jon Mapp.  Support is the essence of what we all do every-day.  “Everyone” is responsible for support within the company, and it is all coordinated and supervised by the support team.  Support is never just given lip service at SYNCHRO ERP.  Day in and day out, support is #1.

Until next time, remember, we have you covered with ASSURE and I will see you on down the road.
