New Team Member!
At the start of the 2020 lockdown, I was working for the emergency services. As the years ticked on and various other lockdowns and restrictions my ambition started to dwindle. After a long 12hr night shifts dealing with numerous calls; from genuine emergencies to the unbelievable calls received such as, drunk people wanting a lift home and prank calls I decided that this wasn’t going to be my future. Helping people is always something I have enjoyed however this is very mentally draining.
‘And suddenly you know, it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.’
During my time in my previous role, I decided to apply to study my A-Levels and AAT in accounting. I worked hard to fit my studies around my shift work until a wonderful opportunity became available to me. After a telephone interview with Lee and getting my remote office set up, I became a member of the Synchro Team!
I don’t even know where to begin, the team has made me feel very welcome – even though we work remotely I have had many lovely phone calls, meeting and getting to know the team and I am truly happy with my decision to take the plunge and start a new adventure.
‘Time flies, it’s up to you to be the navigator’
So, a little about me personally; I currently live with my wonderful partner and he has a beautiful son. We enjoy taking him to the park and farm. Reading is a passion of mine; nothing beats snuggling up with my two cats and getting lost in a good book – any recommendations welcome. I would describe myself as a social butterfly so you can normally find me out with friends or family. My partner and I also enjoy exploring different cities for nights out, our favorite night would be a meal, followed by visiting a local comedy club, finishing the night with a few drinks and a fair bit of dancing!

When everything turns white!
As most people know Brazil is famous for its pleasant weather, we usually have temperatures between 12C (54F) and 30C (85F) all year round. As a result, my experience with snow and all the troubles that snow can bring is virtually none or almost that as I always travel to North America during the winter. However, this time was different.
