Can you swallow another story?
In the garden there is a little nest in a small tree that has been occupied. Two eggs have been incubated and hatched.
I have tried not to disturb them but managed to get a picture without being too invasive or upsetting the parents.
I looked last week and they have flown the nest – reminds me of the nursery rhyme ‘’Two little Dicky Birds’’
I hope they are well - two days later a budgie appears in the garden but that is another story!

AFS Texas Annual Board Meeting and Family Day 2016
The Texas Chapter of the AFS, American Foundry Society, has an annual board meeting and family outing. This year’s event was at the Texas hill country Resort and SPA, Tapatio Springs, which is owned by the country and western musician George Strait – “Amarillo by Morning ”… For those unfamiliar with Texas, Texas has distinct regions within the state which are the Big Bend Country, the Gulf Coast, the Hill Country, The Panhandle Plains, the Piney Woods, the Prairies and Lakes, and the South Texas Plains.

THE BEST INVESTMENT
Howdy once again from Nacogdoches Texas where I’m on the 25th floor of the SYNCHRO ERP plaza. Actually, the tallest building around these parts are the Steen Hall dorms on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University, SFASU, my alma mater at ten stories. Garner Tower was razed a number of years ago and at fourteen stories tall, was actually the tallest building between Houston and Interstate 20, spanning about two-hundred miles.
