Ahhh Holidays
The whole family went away to a quiet spot by the beach, away from the crowds.
Haven’t done that for a long time!
My son lives in Berlin, Germany and he was with us this time, so yes, a real family outing.
This picture is my daughter and her husband.

We found a beautiful place on the northeast coast of Brazil, quiet beaches, plenty of sun (a bit too much in my case, got sunburnt, what do they say about mad dogs and Englishmen?)
38ºC/100F!
Great fun had by all in the Buggy that we hired. It went anywhere, off-road, in the sand, anywhere!
Swimming with the fishes by a coral reef is an experience not to be missed. To see nature at its best and also seeing people respect it, was great.
Let hope we can all enjoy more family holidays from now on.

Why Didn’t I Think About That?
Howdy from East Texas where the weather is unusual to say the least. Here it is late May going into June and we have yet to cross 90f yet and as I type this, it is raining yet again and the temperature on the porch is a mild 66f. Yes, we Texans always like to talk about the weather because if you don’t like what it is now just wait an hour and it will be totally different. -
Three Peaks Challenge!
So I will start with a little background. My younger sister Ellie has been very interested in basketball since she was five years old. At six she was signed up to a local basketball club, Redditch Basketball, run by Dave Bradshaw in our local area, he accepted Ellie joining the team however she was much younger and smaller than anyone else. This didn’t stop Ellie she worked hard and attended many training sessions and games, to begin with she may only have played a few minutes when it came to match days, as you can imagine as a little female six year old she was playing with older boys who towered over her. But it didn’t take long before basketball became much more than fun. ..
